Rooster Coffee House

Rooster Coffee House on King street is the second location in less than a decade for highly successful coffee aficionados Shawn Andrews and Dave Watson. Originating on Broadview Avenue across from Riverdale park, the brand has received nothing but praise since its inception. Beloved local coffee roaster Pilot provides the coffee, while various international roasters make guest appearances weekly. A slew of local bakeries provide the pastries (you must try the butter tart square!). Staff work hard to curate a friendly, personalized experience for regular guests, and their enthusiasm for coffee is obvious. Quirky, mismatching vintage furniture adorns the space, along with abstract artwork to tickle your mind. Additional fun touches like complimentary dog treats and an interac terminal that greets you with “Hey babe” up the charm level further. The hype is legit.
